Mills have worked with Muller on several smaller projects supplying a range of portable banner systems. However, this was our first bespoke build, designing, specifying and constructing an eye catching, reusable stand for future events. The event at Proretail attracted many visitors. | ![]() |

Sun Valley commissioned Mills to produce their 2 latest stands at the NEC. At CRS, The Consumer Retail Show, Twist display systems were used to showcase their Loyd Grossman and 'You Are What You Eat' ranges whilst at BIE, one of the Baking Industry's main events, panels were mounted direct to the shell scheme wall, maximisiong stand space to good effect. Mills handled the design, all production and final on-site installation for both events which are running concurrently. | ![]() |

Mills Media has completed its latest programme for 7BestInvest. ‘Syndicated Property Investments’ examines how the hard hat division of the company operates. Featuring a presenter to link detailed visuals and financial information, this is the fourth production for 7BI over the past twelve months. |

The Mills production team filmed across the entire Wirral for the recent WiNAwards 2008. Featuring twenty one companies across the ten awards, the crew worked with a diverse range of organisations from painting contractors to playgroups, pet food to publishing. The 30 second edits were played in during the Wirral Investment Awards ceremony to a touch of ‘showbiz’ to the proceedings. |

Mills Media have produced a new DVD to promote Patient & Public Involvement amongst the organisations staff. Filmed across the borough of Knowsley in focus groups and health forums. Case studies, the PALS team and Integrated Governance are also featured The programme is being distributed across the trust area of operation and Mills have produced 2,000 DVD’s and A5 guide booklet. |

Once again Mills Media has been featured in Televisual magazine’s Top 50 Corporate Communciations poll. The annual league table is heavily weighted with London and southern based production companies and only three north west organisations have made it into this year’s list. The Mills Media team has recently won new programme commissions for Merseytravel, Bromford Group and Inner City Sailing to boost their existing production slate. |

Mills Media’s commission from regular client Merseytravel, has allowed the team unique access to the organisation’s latest project ‘U-534’. The German submarine has been cut into five sections at its orginal home on Mortar Mill Quay and transported by the Mersey Mammouth to it its new home at Woodside. Mills Media’s documentary will be following the amazing project through to its completion in early summer when the regions latest tourist attraction will open its doors. |

LPF is a grant making charitable foundation set up by the key partners in The Paradise Project. Their aim is help improve the lives of local people through education, prevention of poverty, health and social advancement. Mills Media have completed the production of six minute DVD highlighting the positive results the Foundation is having through three local examples. The Paradise Project is committed to putting something back and this programme clearly illustrates the difference a grant can make to the lives of both young and old living on Merseyside. |

The WiN Awards 2008 were held for the first time at the prestigious Birkenhead School last week. In a marquee setting, Mills Media supplied all set, AV and play-ins for the premier event that saw the very best of the regions businesses enjoy a great night of celebration. Twin live cameras showcased the winners and the evening was hosted by Radio Merseyside’s Roger Phillips. |

MMG produced the annual Bromford Group “Bash” last week at the Cheltenham Centaur. Over 850 colleagues attended the event which was a review of the previous year and looking ahead to 2008 and 2009. It was a complete production service for the client including event management, delegate registration, transport, technical production, exhibition design, photography, graphics, video production and venue liaison. The event was a tremendous success and the highlight of the day was the house band – “4 Poofs and a Piano” from the Jonathan Ross show. The boys ended the day with a unique version of “All Together Now”, specially composed from words submitted by the staff to the registration microsite. Click here to view a time lapse of the event. |

Mills Media continued their long association with Liverpool Law Society, producing the Commercial Property Conference at the Liverpool Arena & Conference Centre last week along with their Charity Ball held at the Crowne Plaza. Over 280 people attended the evening at the hotel, hosted by the BBC’s Garry Richardson. Fund raising activities in aid of the NSPCC Hargreaves Centre included a new version of Heads & Tails as a quiz, an Auction and a raffle for a David M Robinson necklace and matching ear rings. Support acts included look-a-likes Basil & Manuel, a silhouette artist, magicians, local star Connie Lush and dancing to live band “Last Resort”. The evening raised in excess of £ 18,000 for the charity. |

The 2008 British Cycling awards dinner was held at the Reebok Stadium near Bolton. Guests included UCI President Pat McQuaid and during the night nearly 100 awards were presented to cyclists and volunteers from around Britain. Mills Media designed a vibrant and inspiring set complimented by red, white and blue lighting to reflect the ‘best of British’. The event was presented by the BBC commentator Hugh Porter and the annual awards put a great seal on the cyclists and volunteer achievements of the past year. |

Our photographers Lonn Landis and Bob Baxter recently got the opportunity to photograph two impressive ships. The HMS Ark Royal arrived in to Liverpool on Friday 6th June 2008. It was accepted into service on 1 July 1985. Invincible and Illustrious at 210 metres (683 feet) long. She has a maximum beam of 36 metres (117 feet) and a displacement of 20,000 tonnes. The Luxury Cruise Liner the Grand Princess arrived in Liverpool on Wednesday 11th June as part of it's cruise around the British Isles. Bob Baxter recently updated photography of the world famous Uncle Joe's product range. With a history dating back almost as long as Mills Media, Uncle Joe's Mint Balls are held in high regard by many. The images will be used in upcoming exhibition graphics, also to be designed by Mills. |
